It is an investment into the next generation to encourage kindness and compassion in children and adults. Each children’s book is designed to point young minds toward selflessness in a “me first” society. Reading is the greatest gift, but words do have power. We encourage parents to read “to” their children from these lovely books until the kids can read for themselves. We pray these books encourage young readers to be a light in a world that is often dim.
Jan Muir Peine’s motivation for writing was the birth of her first grandson, Holden, twenty-one years ago. She grieved the world he was being brought into. She felt called by God to share her writings with others. Her first book was a non-fiction book that dealt with a miraculous survival of a work place injury. “Journey with Jay” became a mission all of its own. Jay and Jan were on local news, radio shows, and had various publications share their story. “Journey with Jay” is featured below:

Ashway currently has two daily devotional books written by national speaker and women’s leader, Donna Evans. Donna has spent years encouraging her readers with daily “bits” of wisdom and knowledge. Donna also raised a special needs child, “Brucie,” who died unexpectantly at the age of 38. She often speaks on the unique needs of “special” children addressing their impact on the entire family, particularly siblings. She acknowledges that she has experienced profound grief in the loss of her son but celebrates what she knows will someday be a celestial reunion.
